Wow, that thing is nice. Hugger orange is so bad ***. It's weird to see one so "factory" stock. That ones just a little better than your average '69 though.

My boss has a real nice '69 I'd love to buy off him. He's had it since he was 15. Which is probably in/around the year of 1975/76.

Thing is mint, Z28 w/ a 350, red paint with perfect white interior.

I'm thinking I can pick it up for $12-15k.

beautiful restoration, especially the undercarriage. You can tell a lot of attention to detail was done during that car's build. I wouldn't be surprised to see it clear $75-80K due to the engine and cleanliness. COPO/ZL1 clones go for top-dollar if done accurately.

nice, just something about seeing an all-aluminum big block that makes you a little weak in the knees

PUUUUUURRRRRRFECT! Well, I'd change to a modern ignition system and EFI...oh and disc's in the rear...oh, and magnaflow mufflers. THEN it would be perfect.

69 Z28's did not come with a 350. They had a "DZ" coded 302cid engine.

Leather was not an option in these years. Vinyl only regardless of trim style (standard, deluxe or houndstooth deluxe).

Exactly what I was thinking Tony. I bet he has the reserve set @ 6figures though to see if he can get that. Beautiful clone and something to be proud of. I don't think if I was going to build a car to be a clone (or purchase one) but if I did, this would be it (money not an issue of course).
