Default B4c a good start?

Hello I just purchased a 2002 b4c camaro that I still have to go get, I'm wondering if there is much performance over say a comparable camaro? or are the police options mainly things like the bigger sway bars, h/o alternator and gears the only difference?

i dont think there will be any performance gains over any comparable car. they may be slightly lighter cause it wont have t tops. im pretty sure the gears are the same as all others too.

I got my wife one(B4C) it was a Dallas P.D.Chase car.Bone stock, first time at the track it ran a 13.0 at around 102mph.With the usual bolt ons, it now sees mid to low 12's on a regular basis(with her driving).ENJOY!!!

Thanx guys, thats about what i thought. Maybe up too a half second quicker, probably cause of the weight. I had a 94 police caprice that in houston was six tenths quicker than the impalla ss's. What usual bolt on's picked it up a half second?

THe B4C offers nothing more in the way of performance than a std z28.

i doubt it'll be half a second quicker, they are lighter but not enough for that much of a difference...

So what gives? Andypdbz says best ET is 13.33 with those mods! When I was in Houston in 2000 I saw brand new camaros with less than a thousand miles and no mods run 13.30's and 40's

i live at higher elevation 4000 ft, considering the air is also much more dry in the desert it calculates to about 6000 ft above sea level. Houston is right about sea level. The more dense the air, the more power...

Ok, sorry Andy! I thought you were closer to sea level. I fully understnd altitude, I race in Montana at an actual 5200 ft. and sometimes with corrected air we race at 10000 ft.
