What in the hell is this key for????

i got my car in november and it came with this key, but i don't have a clue what it goes to. I would have asked sooner but i feel like a retard not knowing what it goes to.

if ti doesnt fit the T top or glove box, then it's probably a key that was left on the keyring

the key for the doors is the same one as the glovebox and t-tops

it also has C.S.S. stamped into it

That's exactley what it is for but it doesn't look like the owner included the gas cap to go along with the key.

i know what its for! its to turn on the other half of your engine! one key turns on 4cyl the other key turns on the other 4!

ok ok i know lame, hmm looks like a mailbox key or a gas cap key.

I was going to say gas cap as well. I bet it is not on the car, because there was a locking gas cap brand out there that was like an OEM replacement, and it had a sealing problem. I went through 2 of them on my Jeep in a 1 year period. I bet he finally said to hell with it and got a straight replacement. But hell, with gas at the prices that it is at these days, I would lock that shyt up in a heartbeat!

I bought my car used and never noticed the locks on the lugs. I discovered them 6 months later when I had a flat and no key.

Huh... is the key for the ignition the same as the key for the doors? The reason I ask is because my 2000 came with two keys, one for the ignition and a little one for the glovebox... and I've never used the keys to unlock the doors, only the remote. I assumed the ignition key would be for the doors too, and so my guess was glovebox... but...?

I know what that key goes to.

Do you guys remember in highschool when they went over the sex education thing. I lived in a po-dunk part of Texas and they refuse to teach safe sex, so they taught chastity. They gave all the girls a key, does anyone remember that key? The key they are supposed to give to you when you take their virginity.

Well dude he just gave you the key to that cars virginity. He took it once and now you are stuck with sloppy seconds...
