haha!!! omg dude i had the same exact thing. at first my dad tried the hammer. Then he tried loosening the motor mount. Then we tried pushing the motor around by the tranny tail(and it fell of and i almost got killed). When they went in to get pizza i said im doing it my way. I put the hoist back on and just jacked it up a little. I thought i would have to take the other motor mout out but i didnt. I moved it up a little to high at first but then i just lowered it little by little and eventually it lined up. I cant believe we had the same exact problem.

So another words, I'm just going to have to play around with it for a bit. As long as it goes in i'll be happy.

Yeah I got some pics of it. Here ya go.

the pic with the cowl hood is most recent. It had matching prostars 15x10 in the back. We put the prostars on the camaro and some other wheels on the s-10

today i ordered the hooker super comp headers 1 3/4 coated because my old ones didnt clear the angled plugs. I also ordered a vacuum pump and a resvoir for my brakes a couple days ago. I plugged the pump to a battery and what a wonderful sound it made. summit will have their pump and resvoir back in a couple and i will have my hydraboost system in 7. ahhhh the joy of working on cars

I hope those headers go in smoothly for you. It took about a good while to get my 2 inch headers to fit. The third tube on the driver side was hitting the steering box and we tried to hit the heck out of it but we did more damage than good. Finally we cut it off and have some people bend us a new tube in a way that it would work. We got it to work with some more minor bending.

well, heres the deal. I put the passenger side header on and they cleared. I went to the drivers side and i was there for hours. Couldnt get them in from top or bottom. Had to take off oil filter, jack the car up mroe because they were longer, take off the tie rod from the center link, and i still didnt get them in. The steering box needs to come out. As im walking in iam inspecting the headers and notice something....the first 2 inches of the number 1 whole of the header is rusted on the inside. I think to myseld hmm.....jeggs said these hookers were coated inside and out. I guess not. Im sending those back and getting my money back and having headman' 66003 headers sent free delivery. Pray for me guys

I got my driver side header in from the bottom BUT they have removable collectors so it made it a ton easier. Yeah, as for the passenger side, it went straight in. I had to clearance the passenger side header after I put the starter in.

Well guys...shes on the road. updates haev been rare because the car has taken all the energy. i have some pics and took a video of the first pulling out but i hav eto figure out how to post it. she sounds amazing and runs great. we had some problems with timing and the clutch but they are fixed. the hydraboost is unexplainable....my chest hits the steering wheel. no more traction bars! the exhaust hits a little still on the rear body panel but thats easy to fix. i will be changing that to 3 inch soon. little things like speedometer and backup lights just have to be tied up but other than that its done. 500 miles for the tranny break in but it should go fast. overall it was a great first build for me. what an experience. at times i thought i couldnt take it anymore, but now it all pays off. taking off from school tomorow to detail!
