Cool good deal for a 98 SS???

I found this 98 SS camaro 6-speed!! leather and ttops for 9500 it has 90k on her tho which kind of has me worried and i havent found out how much insurance would be yet... i have about 3000 saved up and i have my car which is worth like 2000 to trade in or sell to my family. I really want to get the ss for this summer wut r ur thoughts...

Sounds like a decent price. Have it checked out and see if there could be anything wrong with it.

Definitely have it looked over. I have 100,000 on mine and it runs amazingly well with zero problems whatsoever. Call SLP with the VIN # to verify it's a real SS and make sure you can start it "cold" to listen for piston slap. Out of curiousity... does it have the single exhaust tip exiting on the driver's side? That was unique to the 98' SS though some came with a different SLP exhaust as an option.

I agree with the above comments. Check it over good. If it has an SES light on, find out what it is before you buy. If everything checks out, try to get him to lower the price alittle. He should be able to go down to 9,000; or more than likely, he'll give you more on your trade in. Good luck and post back how it went.

I hope to get it soon im going tonight guys says its a real SS claims its in tip top shape and very smooth for the miles but im pretty sure ive heard this about every car ive looked at

i paid 9000 for 98 z28 a4 with 65k miles, fully loaded, t-tops, leather, monsoon audio with 12cd changer. i would say thats a tiny bit high, but it is an SS so maybe not.

Yeah i looked at it its in good shape has 96k miles but im getting almost nothing for my car and not much flexiblility with the price so its looking bleak but have to wait for the bank cause not much of anything is available
