Default Not sure if I overcharged my ac

I charged my ac and was driving down the highway and all of a sudden it stopped blowing cold. I get home and check it out and there is a yellow dye on the bottom of my compressor and on some surrounding parts near it. The system still has 25 psi when I turn the ac on. Is there any chance the compressor has a release valve on it when the pressure gets too high (jist in case I overcharged the system) or is it most likely a blown seal or something?
Thanks
Justin

Did you have a gage on the freeon canister.

Ok, figured this one out. Yes I was using a gauge to measure the pressure of the system when it was running. Turns out the o ring on the back of the compressor went bad. Replaced that and we are good to go
