Header coating damage?

Header coating damage? I recently bought an '02 SS. It only had 13,000 miles on it when I got it. It was modded up. It has hooker super comp headers on it. Now i'm reading on the holley website that by breaking in an engine with new headers, it will result in coating damage of the headers. What kind of effect can I expect with this?
We don't normally see any adverse effects when breaking in a new engine with ceramic coated headers. The heat that is built up when breaking in a new non roller camshaft in an old school engine is what Hooker is talking about. When we have to do that, we use our large chassis dyno fan to keep the engine bay cooler.

Looks to me like they don't want one sustained high temp
cycle, like engine on stand in still air, before the coating
is temp-cycled a few times. As-delivered the coating is not
fully cured, going by what they say:

If the headers have already been "run in" they should not
care about breaking in a replacement motor.
