Default what should the 1st mods on a be Z28??

My best friend has a 2000 Z28 automatic, 84k miles, bone stock. What would you all suggest his first mods be. He eventually wants to get a stall, headers, and a gear. But wants to do the small things first....I was thinking air lid, intake, throttle body??? What do you all think would be best to do first or in what order??
Thanks for the help.

I vote for exhaust, then headers or stall.

Lid, exhaust, & short throw shifter is what my first mods would be.

For an A4?
Exhaust/Gears/Stall/Headers

Get those 4 things, and your car should be a Full Second Faster or close to it.

Watch the For Sale section and you could pick one up for 80, but they are about 100 new. As far as gains, you can expect about 5-10 without exhaust.

I agree with the lid, but not the cat back. 600 bucks for 5hp. Damn near could get a converter for that

I got 12 hp and 14 fts/lbs with just my LM.

Well, I had other mods like a CAI and 52mm Throttle Body, but the 3" Exhaust helped alot.
