Default my z is too loud

I had pacesetters quick trip long tube and their y-pipe put on thursday. It goes with the loudmouth slp exhaust with the 3.5 inch tips. The bad thing about it is i cannot goose it around town, once it hits over 2500 it is roarin'. Im lookn to get a new exhaust now, any suggestions fellas?

exhaust is overrated....but seriously ive heard so many people complain about a loudmouth/header combo...go with hooker catback or magnaflow, those sound really good with headers...

i would go with hooker or dynomax, they are supposed to quiet it down but give u the most power.

the best thing to do is get a dynomax bullet muffler and replace the slp resonator. it will reduce the drone some. also known as a dynomouth. thats my setup and it still sounds mean but doesnt give people headaches.

Go with Hooker or Magnaflow. They tame it down, but still sound great!

you could go get a dynomax bullet and put it in the place of the loudmouth. I plan on taking my hooker cat-back off and put a bullet in the place of the hooker

i just had the exact same set up.. it really really sounds good. i didnt have a Y pipe, h pipe or x pipe, i just attached the bullets right to the stock headers. A few days ago I bought pacesetters, and an x pipe. I am definitely not complaining. The pacesetters just bolted right on, no problems at all, very simple and the car sounds fantastic. (Im not complimenting myself, Im just giving my opinion). Its not raspy at all incase your worried about that. Its a bit loud, however, its not near as loud as what youve got on your car. My exhaust is quiet at low RPM's but when you get on it you can be heard.

Corsa is nice. It sounds great outside the car with very little interior resonance.

slp dual/dual if you want real quiet. other than that magnaflow hooker for good alll around sound. corsa will be louder than those or just swap out the bullet in there now and add another one to the drivers side tailpipe piece it will help cut alot of nosie

If you have a loudmouth you have the option from slp of other mufflers that will make you exhaust quieter. So before you go spending another paycheck on everyone elses exhaust I would atleast try to look into slp's other options especially since alot of their exhausts are interchangeable.

Exhaust too loud? Lol thats funny.

Put some reducers in the muffler, if you dont like it loud. I dont see why you want a quiter car, why even put exhaust or headers on in the first place then.....

I want it quieter just because coming in at 5:00am in the morning after out all night racing, lets just say its not neighbor friendly. Not to mention I remeber the days of flying past the cop and him not even looking up. I mean don't get me wrong I want a good sound but my borla will make you deaf after awhile. I do drive it quite a bit.
