no thanks, it just devalues the real 69 camaro.

as an owner of a 69 camaro, i take it as an insult

I can see it as being a bit insulting but you gotta admit that the ingenuity behind this build is quite impressive. At least they did not do what they did in the third Fast and the Furious movie.
You get the best of both worlds, old school look with the modern convenience.

I love the idea, but 125K is way out of my price range though. Not to mention, I actually prefer the look of the 4th gen.

Thats a cool idea. But for that price id rather just have a actuall 1st gen and do a motor swap.

it looks cool but it's just a fake first gen. and if they really are 125K you could get a real first gen and build it up pretty nice. i would never do it, even if i did have the money.

Suprised nobody attempted this before. None the less, it is still tacky. If you want a 1st gen, go build one. If you want modern perfomance, go buy a 4th gen. Simple enough, without spending the big bucks to be Joe Cool for a couple weekends.

...or start with a real first gen and put in some decent suspension peices and have a real first gen that handles WAY better not to mention lighter and having a non fugly interior! And the ls1 swap is a complete bolt in deal nowadays with a decent checkbook. I wouldnt doubt for one second that car way slower than my 68 (ls1/t56 c4 irs and modded stock front sub)

The real sad thing is some people will fork over the dough and in 3 years never be able to sell it for 10k,

Edit: forgot to mention this is not a body kit, the comany takes stock 69 camaro parts and a 4th gen and chops everything up until it looks right.
