Finding block casting #

Finding block casting # I'm real curious to know if my 02 Z28 has an LS6 block, I know what # to look for and where it is (on the top of the block drivers side) but can't see it with worth a damn, been trying all sorts of flaslights and mirrors but is really tight back there. If you know a way to see this casting # without pulling out the motor or trans

Look for the bullseyes on the front deck. No bullseyes = LS1, bullseyes = LS6.
