Default Finding block casting #

I'm real curious to know if my 02 Z28 has an LS6 block, I know what # to look for and where it is (on the top of the block drivers side) but can't see it with worth a damn, been trying all sorts of flaslights and mirrors but is really tight back there. If you know a way to see this casting # without pulling out the motor or trans please let me know. Thx

Thanks, I'll have to try looking from underneath. Looks like your one of the lucky ones. Very nice car BTW (was looking at your site).

Look for the bullseyes on the front deck. No bullseyes = LS1, bullseyes = LS6.
