Default Fitting 17" rims 275/40/17 on 67 camaro?????

Have some 17" rims 17.9.5" on a 275/40/17 tire off my 94 z28. I wanted to put them on my 67 camaro. They dont look like they will fit without modifing something. Does anyone here know exactly what I need to do to fit this size of tire/rim on the 67??? Looking for the cheapest way possible.

They will fit with the correct BS. I just put some on a customers 68 Camaro with 17x10 American Racing TT2's with 275/40R17 Yoko's. We went with a 5 1/2 BS and they fit beautifully!!!

You will need some spacers. Try skulte.com or an equivalent. I used to have some skulte's, very nice quality.

Another vote for Skulte if you need adapters. I just ordered a set for my TA. I ordered them at 11:00am on Thursday, and they were at my door on Friday afternoon. Spoke to Andres (sp?) on the phone. Very nice guy, very helpful. Dont get suckered into those $65 sets on ebay... Thats what I was going to get...Decided that having my wheels stay on was an important goal for me. So I spent the extra on a good set. Good luck!

Spacers suck. If you are gonna do it, do it right. That is the most unsafe thing I would ever do. It is a 1 in a million shot but its still there. Not dissing anyone that is using spacers but its not worth it.
Skip the wheels for the 4th gen and just get some ZR1's from SLP meant for the third gens. A lot better man. If money allows, if it doesn't just becareful and check them all the time. Make sure you get at least 4(3 is what most say) full turns on there at least. Good luck!
