Default AC hose routing question,,

I have a 95 Caprice with a lsx motor installed. Car runs great!! 13.2 @104 ,,4300lbs . Gotta love these motors..

The problem that I am having is the AC unit = 2002Fbody. I am not sure the guy who fabbed up the hose routing did it correct. I can not seem to get the system to cool. By chance would anyone know or direct me to some pics that show the way the system should be connected. On the back of the compressor it has a tube that the upper line (more towards top of motor) then a lower line. The way it is currently connected the upper Line (upper tube) from compressor goes to the receiver dryer, the lower goes to the condensor. I just need to make sure that the routing is correct and not backwards. I am guessing it is OK as the Lo-Pres, side reads good and hI press. side seems to measure OK. I may just have a bad compressor but wanted to attempt to eliminate the obvious. Any help greatly appreciated.
THanks Roger,,

That is correct routing of the hose. What pressures are you seeing low side and high side? Check them after the system has run for 2 min on Max and hi fan. Low side should be 30-50 depending on outside temp and humidity, high side should be 150-250 range

Nice looking car

According to the Helms Manual, at that temp, you should be more like 40-52psi on the low and 210-310 on the high

It seems like the compressor is OK, but I am no expert. If you didn't install the system yourself, I would vacuum down the system and clean it out and add 24ozs of R134.

Thanks SilverSierra,, I have vacuumed the system down to about 28"lbs. So I will have to keep looking.

Post your question over in the General Maintenance section, lots of a/c questions over there, I bet someone has a better perspective.
