they make a search feature that is installed in every SS camaro they built. when you sit in it, and a question arises, you get the urge to go to LS1tech.com and use the search function. only certain SS's got this special package, im guessing yours didnt get it.

And as far as SLP packages, there are none, only options.
Here is my SLP options on my SS:
...as far as common, its hard to say. Some SS's don't have any SLP options, some have them all. It depends on how the dealership or customer ordered it.
If you have a VIN# you can always contact SLP and ask them what options the car had, or if it had a SLP door sticker on the passenger's door.

As stated, ALL SS cars went to SLP wether you had Y2Y content or not. SLP was the OEM upfitter for the Camaro SS. On top of the base SS you could order optional content from SLP. If you don't have a WU8 on your RPO codes, you don't have an SS. You have a Clone.

Notice the bottom where it says... "SLP produces the Camaro SS at its Montreal assembly facility, which is 20 minutes away from GM's Ste. Therese F-Car assembly plant."

for alteration to SLP for that work. Following alteration, Camaro SS's are returned to GM's Ste.
Therese assembly plant and subsequently shipped by GM carriers to Chevrolet dealerships.
WHAT ABOUT FINANCING AND WARRANTY COVERAGE?
Retail financing and leasing are available through GMAC. SLP's 3-year/36,000-mile limited warranty covers content provided by SLP. The balance of the vehicle, which is not affected by specific SLP content, is covered by General Motors's limited warranty. See GM limited warranty for details.
