That car is gorgeous! I've been wanting a first gen for a while. If you don't mind me asking, how much did you buy it for?

Thanks for the nice comments guys, I really like this car. m_gonhim, let's just say it was over 25K but under 30K. A friend of mine saw the pictures then he saw the car and said the pictures don't do it justice, I'm not very good with the camera. In the early 80's I had a Dark Blue 68 Camaro 350 RS/SS convertible and sold it after a couple of years because I was tired of it, I still kick myself in the *** over that. I've wanted another one for along time now and when I could finally afford another one at todays prices I couldn't find the right one. I found this one a year and a half ago about a mile and a half from my house and never knew it was there, the guy never drove it, this car sat from quite a number of years. I wanted the car then and there and would have bought it then but the owner didn't want to sell it. It's been restored about 20 years ago I think and it's still in great shape. When I bought it the odometer read 08808 which I think is the mileage on it since it was restored. I've been doing little things here and there, mostly to clean it up. Everything works as it should accept for the horn, even the cowl induction works. It's bone stock, steele intake manifold, steele heads, steele exhaust manifolds, 2" factory exhaust and a points type distributor. I'm getting ready to order Hooker Super Comp 1 3/4" coated long tube headers, flowmaster duals and a Mallory Unilite HEI distributor for it, ought to make it run alittle better.

Depending on condition 11K would be a great price for a 69 in todays market. I paid alittle more for mine than I wanted to but it's a great turn key car.
