4.3L .030 Overbore How much HP gain, am I looking at when I .030 over a 4.3L V6? what about that same set up with some headers and exhaust? Just go by best guess, I just want to know if the machine work im going to pay for is going to be worth it. Thanks.

Well in my opinion to properly rebuild a motor you would need to bore it and get new pistions/rings to fit the new bore properly. Although as far as power goes you will not gain much power really all you are doing is adding about 4ci.

Yes i understand u plan on replacing the pistions and rings that would be part of the rebuild...but you asked how much hp gain you would gain from boring it .030 over.
