Default 4.3L .030 Overbore

How much HP gain, am I looking at when I .030 over a 4.3L V6? what about that same set up with some headers and exhaust? Just go by best guess, I just want to know if the machine work im going to pay for is going to be worth it. Thanks.

Well in my opinion to properly rebuild a motor you would need to bore it and get new pistions/rings to fit the new bore properly. Although as far as power goes you will not gain much power really all you are doing is adding about 4ci.

You should probably just save up for an LSx. You'd make a lot more power with less money in the long run.

Yes i understand u plan on replacing the pistions and rings that would be part of the rebuild...but you asked how much hp gain you would gain from boring it .030 over.
