So im thinking of buying this '97 ss near my house, car is imaculate, only downside is that it has 80k on the clock. The car is in perfect condition, not a scratch, etc, clean straight body, clear title, the ususal. My debate is that if i get this car, i plan on modding the hell out of it, and i'm not sure the motor can take that much abuse for that long, cause of the 80k miles on it. I'm considering just buying the car anyways, modding the hell out of it, and then if it goes boom just buying a new motor for it, what can I expect an Lt1 motor to cost me, or better yet what kind of motors can I cram in there?
