Would a nice 1st Gen Camaro be fun to drive/own?

If you already own a 4th gen, i saw in a magazine a company that takes a 1st gen shell and mates it to a 4th gen floor/structure so that all you'd have to do is strip your car and bolt everything to the "new" 1st gen shell. Of course, you would have to buy all the body/trim/glass/weatherstrip and paint to finish it.
Yes the 1st gens suck compared to "newer" cars, but as you've found out, no 4th gen gets the same amount of stares as a 1st gen. No offense.

That's pretty cool. Seeing as this is your first post, I hope it's not random spam. Could you provide a link, or any information for this? This sounds quite akin to the new Dynacorn 71 Fastback Mustang shells that have been circulating, and going on new S197 underpinnings.

Not exactly a bare shell, but still a cool alternative. Definately the best of both worlds!

Oops, I missed the $20K part.
