2000 Z28, aluminum driveshaft?

I have a buddy telling me the Z28's cam with an aluminum drive shaft... i'm positive they didn't, only SS's did....
anyone care to verify?

All M6 cars got aluminum driveshafts, whether Z28 or SS. I think the only A4 cars that got them were the ones with 3.23 gears. So basically exactly what the above post said
. I don't agree that the steel is better though. It might be a tad stronger, but it's also heavier. The aluminum driveshaft can still take quite a beating.

aftermarket aluminum shafts that are bigger are great, but they are stronger.
