Last fall I was cruising the interstate at about 70 with the tops off and here comes this new black Charger. He gets up along side of me and gives it a rev and then speeds up. I stuck my hand up where the t-top would have been and waved. 
I love t-tops!

Theres nothing like the jeep wrangler/cj wave. unfortunately with all fo the yupees getting jeeps the last several years, that wave went away.
i will wave to camaros if the person seems to be looking at me, but im so rarely in my camaro, i usually get funny looks. haha
when in the camaro i wave if the person is looking (camaro or trans am).

I dont wave at vettes unless they go first. Most of them give you the " why the **** are you waving at me in your piece of **** camaro cant you see im driving a vette ************?" look
I wave at other v-8 f-body's but its nothing like the jeep wave. Most of the muscle car enthusiasts have too much of an ego and just try to race you.

I always drive with my top down and toss a quick wave at all F-bodies I see, which is an assload.
But about half of them are stock v6's driven by Chicks with phones glued to their face.
I'll bet they don't know a thing about their cars except for the fact that it "Looks Cute". That And their cash loaded daddy's bought it for em. hahaha

I wave to other Camaro's and even T/A's all the time, I always acknowledge and also never race another Camaro or T/A. If a Vette is cool I'll roll with them too, but if it's some ***** with an attitude he becomes another statistic!!!

Got a little hand wave from a nice WS6 on base, stock, but looks brand new. Older guy. Then the other day got a wave from another older guy in a white SS as he passed me going the other way. I think the SS guys think im one of them when they are passing me going the other direction with my hood!

There is a black one that always revs up when I pass him. Never made eye contact with him but when I hear a rev I look in the mirror and see the same black car. A few older guys(50's) with SS's will give me a grin/smile and I will lift my hand for the classic redneck two finger wave. Saw 3 in one day and it was kinda weird.
There was BOM(orange) GTO the other day that kinda gave me the once over. Such a cool color in person.
Then there is this one girl in a red V6 just like mine but with chrome stock rims that smiled when I passed her. Always seem to miss her when she is pulling in for work.
Also my friend and I were moving Camaro's up to the front for body shop. A 67, 76, 81, and a 68. We are both 16 and everyone gave us weird looks and it felt so cool. It was weird having people actually look back at your and fully turn around in their seats to check you out. Our boss does it for attention and it definitely works. Had quite a few cars come in for estimates that day.

I think I have gotten 2 waves since I have owned an F-Body (its been 3 years) One was a Black Trans Am and the other was a newer Silver Z28. It's usually a wave followed by the raise of an index finger for acknowledgement. The v6's usually think their hot **** around here so I don't wave to them...

I had my Jeep first before my TA. Something feels... uh i dunno "patriotic" or something when you see anuther enthusiast and wave to each other on the road. Unfortunately Jeep people wave alot more than F body people.
