Default obd2 connecter difficulty... :(

Ok, I have a 240sx with an LS1 swap, and my car is very unstable... I really need to know what codes its firing up at me, but my OBD2 Connecter is not connected... my question is, where is the purple data line located?. do we take it from the original LS1 car dash harness? or is it in the ECU harness?

im kinda lost

Thanks

Here is the pin out for the OBD2 connector. Just look at your harness to find the serial data wire and connect and hook up the rest

Good luck

C1 - Blue, Pin 58 - Class 2 Serial Data. Its a dark green wire in the engine harness.

OBD2 port Pin 2 - Class 2 Serial Data
Pin 4,5 Ground
Pin 16 12v+

That Pin 16 is a Constant Power from the Battery. It's not an IGN Hot Wire, I've seen people do that and it doesn't work properly.
