Default LQ4 intake/throttle body question

I have a 2004 LQ4 with a DBW intake. I don't have a throttle body, PCM or wiring harness. I am trying to determine if an older, cable drive throttle body will workwith the newer intake. It seems a bit easier to put in my Nova than the DBW.

Any help would be great.

It will bolt on, but the intake will be missing some of the threaded inserts that are used to bolt the throttle cable bracket to the intake.

Do I use the vacumn line off the throttle body or off the manifold?

The manifold has a line right behind where the throttle body bolts on and the DBW throttle bodies don't have the vacumn line on them. I would guess it doesn't matter and you just plug one and use the other but I want to cover all the bases before committing to one or the other.

Thanks for the quick response.
