LQ4 intake/throttle body question

LQ4 intake/throttle body question I have a 2004 LQ4 with a DBW intake. I don't have a throttle body, PCM or wiring harness. I am trying to determine if an older, cable drive throttle body will workwith the newer intake. It seems a bit easier to put in my Nova than the DBW.
Any help would be great.

Do I use the vacumn line off the throttle body or off the manifold?
The manifold has a line right behind where the throttle body bolts on and the DBW throttle bodies don't have the vacumn line on them. I would guess it doesn't matter and you just plug one and use the other but I want to cover all the bases before committing to one or the other.
