I’m with Rao on this. I’ve owned a Black Infiniti Q45 and now a Black ’97 BMW M-3 four door that is receiving an LSx.

I would not hesitate if a clean white or silver E-36 4 door with decent interior presented itself, then swap all of my M3 specific goodies as well as the LSx over to the lighter colored car…

Do you know the part number for your air filter off hand? I looked through all of the K&N boxes at the local store and didn't find one w/ an opening as big as the maf/tb of the ls1.

whoa, rao, this is such a cool swap, ALL of the M3 bits onto the lowkey DD 3series sedan is just an awesome idea! Add to that using your LS2 swap and what a hoot to drive, how is it and do you want anything to be different about it?
what did you do with your M3?
love the sedan, awesome work on it.

Thanks.
It really drives just like the M3, but I do like the 4 door a lot. There are always things that could be improved, and I am always thinking up other projects, but for now this car is a blast![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)
The M3 chassis and the various 325i parts that I didn't need are for sale (some of the stuff has sold).
