Should the the same thing. The only issue i can recall is the crank gear teeth count. Not sure what yr they went to the later version, but they do make a box that changes the output signal to the correct one.

Iron 6.0 = LQ4/LQ9

wekk thats what i was kinda worried about. The ls2 has 24x cam gear teeth and the lq9 had 58x teeth. Does anybody know where to find this jumper box to do this conversion?? Thanks sanchez.

The Knock Sensors will be in a different spot, as well as the Cam Sensor..keep that in mind.

lq9 also was 24x, the lq9 did not come with 58x as far as i know, 07 was last yr. for lq4/9 and all the ones ive come across have alwys been 24x for both engines. thye all use the "dist. hole" cam sensor
the 08' ly6 use the ls2 cam sensor and are 58x

Actually you need to shorten the Cam Sensor Harness.

Yea under the Intake..I mentioned that they are in a different spot up there. You are going to need a different Valley Cover.
