Default questions about th400 in 69 camaro

does anyone know if S&P (carsshop) style plates will position the TH400 in the stock location for the stock style crossmember?

im seriously thinking of ditching the t56 in favor of an auto. my car has gone too long without some serious street driving. i loved my auto back with this was my daily in highschool.

im still confused about the whole flexplate, spacer, converter thing.

if you run a TH400 on an LS1 please post your exact flexplate setup in retard terms like this for me please..

dished flexplate - spacer - converter?

spacer - flat flexlate - converter?

I just went through this ok if ya order a new convertor ya dont need a new flex plate but you have to tell them so they send the correct one ,but now if you have the convertor you need a new flex plat and a sleeve to space itbetween the convertor and the flex plate ,if you need any more just ask

How are you going to get the throttle valve cable from the th400 to work? Use a TCI full pressure throttle body?

TH400s have an electric kick down. i can either run the OEM carb mounted switch type or a lokar electric unit that is cable operated.

Im running a carb setup on my LS1. all i need is manifold vacuum and a 12v source for the kick down.
