I believe the Vic Jr makes more power than the GMPP, hence why I bought the Vic Jr.

I have no hard info on it though, I am sure someone else will chime in backing my claims with some real world information.

I know the victor is 1" taller so it might have a little edge in the upper rpm's. I know the gmpp used to be cheaper but now it seems it is the same-ish price as the victor jr.

I thought the super vic was a fuel injected intake only.

WOW I always thought the GMPP was just the Vic Jr with GM part # and badging. I'm still pretty sure they are both cast by E, but definately different I see. Thanks again LS1tech.

Here is a side by side representation of the Edelbrock L92 Victor Jr vs the GM L92 Single Plane intake.

Thanks to the person who took these pictures(got them here on ls1tech)

Well there seems to be good points to both....

The Victor Jr. has extended runner dividers and a taller plenum.

The GMPP has a longer plenum (front to rear) that I didn't notice at first glance....so that should gain back plenum volume while retaining hood clearance.

Has anyone done any back to back testing??

Not that I have seen posted. One guy ran back to back with a Vic Jr and a ported GMPP and claimed the GM smoked the Vic in every way. But no idea how the porting affected that.

Wasn't Zones going to test both?

Interesting pics BTW. That height difference wouldn't have worked on my car.

Burgers picked up 1.5 tenths and 3mph moving from the GM L92 intake to a box stock Edelbrock Victor Jr L92.

Here is the thread discussing the GM vs Victor Jr intake form '09 https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...l#post11253503

Also, this is the same thread that the nice side by side pics came from. (thanks for the pics, 1cdub)
