I always felt the taillights on my 61 were too dim so I did all six as taillights with no reverse. I also thought it looked cleaner but now that I'm redoing everything it's time to modernize.

Who's mounting plates are those, and how close is the pan to the frame? The more I read your conversion the more I'm getting ready for mine. I just bought a GTO engine and tranny and need to get a different pan and mounts now.

Wow! Did he hand deliver it?

I like the lights. Did I already mention that I have to get some for mine?

What steering gear is that? It looks like it says CPP but the flash took it out.

Any updates on how this is coming along? I was wondering what you did for a fuel pump and the fuel line set-up.

This is simply an awsome build, I'm also doing a 62, Are you in orange county, I ask because I am? I would love to see your car at some point in person. I was wondering the same thing Norm is about what fuel tank and pump your going to run?

Thanks. Yes im in Orange County.

Here some advice i got on the fuel system from a guy that has does many of these swaps:

get a factory sending unit from a 409 , has a return line . . . . .49.00
get factory c5 or c6 fuel filter , also has return line . . . . . . . .100.00
inline frame mounted fuel pump . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 75.00
steel braded fuel line . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 100.00
bringing the total cost of new parts to approx . . . . . . . . . . .425.00 for everything

mount the filter approx 2-3 foot from the tank , makes return line short
and everything stays in stock location except the pump and filter , that way if anything goes wrong ever , the parts can be gotten from your local auto zone or advance auto ,

Any chance of seeing a pic of the set-up underneath? What pump brand/model are you using? Is it pretty quiet?

I just ordered that same pully set for my car today, Since you running air bags and that ls motor have you choose any headers yet that wont hit the frame nor make the exhaust touch the ground? or are you staying stock?
