Default should i be allowed?

well heres the jist of it...i want to make the list on here for fastest cam only ls cars, but i figured i would see what everyone thinks first before i ask....i have a 87 mustang coupe with a lq4 6.0 truck motor that came out of the boneyard with 60k on it..i put a set of 799 heads milled .040 on it for more compression because my motor came with dished pistons and i also .040 head gaskets on it also..but the heads are bone stock besides being milled some(no valve job,no port work)and then i put a victor jr carb'd intake, polluter cam kit from tick performance, kooks headers,850 qft carb, msd 6010 box....thats it....here is my question should this be allowed to be on the list considering my motor came with 317 heads from the factory? the motor still has the factory untouched bottom end and the heads flow about the same numbers from the factory(317's and 799's)just some difference in cc's.....so what does everyone think.....thanks

if the cars you beat on "the list" dont have decked heads, I would say no, you dont count. If they do, sure why not. Those lists of "Fastest this only" and "fastest stock that" are good for reference, not much else until there is a spec rule and standard for everything else on/in the vehicle.

what's your timing curve on that 6.0L with those heads? I'm running a similar setup and would love to know what you are using. Or you could e-mail the file instead if it's too much to type out. Running on pump gas or a mix?

Even if you were on that list, you would still be 2nd. Dave Mizzell has already been 6.0 on the stock bottom end 6.0 with L92 heads.

the section says ls1,ls6,ls2,ls3 and lq motors...i think someone on there even has l92's on his motor...only reason i put them on there is because my motor came from the the factory with 9.5 compression(dished piston lq4 not the flat top piston lq9) ...and why not,my 317 heads could have been deck'd to give me some compression and the 317's flow just as good as the 799's and they dont have any port work or valve work...they are factory heads that came on 364ci ls2 motors...thats why i consider the motor cam only...because there is nothing in my motor or on top of my motor thats not gm except for the cam kit and victor intake..and like i said the 799's came from the factory on 4 inch bore motors and flow the same as my 317's.....

i just want to be on the list regardless...and not to take nothing away from dave because his cars hauls a$$,but my car has cathrederal style ports on it not l92's and i ran a 10.02 with summer type track conditions(but hes on another list anyway from what i want to be on)...when fall comes around i'll be in the 9.80's...fingers crossed.....even being 2nd to his car is still a honor...
