Need bigger injectors for truck intake
Are there any bigger injectors that will directly interchange in a 6.0 truck intake? I think this is a 2003-2004 6.0 intake. It has the single fuel line but I don't have the throttle body. I need something in the mid-30 lb range but I don't want to replace the fuel lines or do a bunch of fabrication if possible. I would rather not change the connectors unless there is no other way.

I have a set of 44# injector i can sell you. Factory style connectors plug right up. I also have a stock throttle body if you need one. Let me know. Remember you can always change the pulse width on a larger injector to use less fuel but you cant turn it up if you need more fuel for other mods.

Thanks for the reply. Are these car injectors? By that I mean LS1 or LS6? I should be able to buy these from Summit? or Jegs? How much spacing are we talking about?

think i spaced mine up about half inch if i recall. i used ls1 injectors or use ford motorsports ones even. just used longer bolts and spacers on mine. basically just set the injectors in push the fuel rail down and see how much gap there is.

Thanks for the comeback. That's exactly the kind of information I was looking for. Now I have one more question for you or anyone who knows. Did the LS1 connectors come on anything else that a guy could actually find in a salvage yard. New ones, (at least the ones we have found) are expensive, and so far, I haven't found a reasonally priced LS1 harness that I can rework in place of a truck harness. Thanks! Ron

I'm curious if the gen IV (LY6 or L92) injectors might fit your older intake. I have read varying reports of their flow rate, but all in the high 30s or 40 even. Here's some discussion: https://ls1tech.com/affiliates/truck...d.php?t=449386
