Yes, I would have to relocate the coils if i run these.

Driver's side

Passenger's

It looks like I could snake a 4" downpipe out either side, or a 3.5" VERY easily. Under the headers. Driver's side is more appealing, but I would be close to the rag joint in the steering shaft.

I saw where you posted those somewhere else. Cool, but not what I'm looking for. I need something that discharges more horizontally. I'm pretty much set on buying these and making them work, or buying the bends, etc and building a set.

1/4 inch of clearance is OK if you run urethane engine mounts. Paint I don't know about.

At the very least it looks like you will need to cut the collectors off and turn them in and down some.

Either way, better get the tune right first time out cause you won't want to be changing plugs if you can help it.

guess you will be running the alternator in the truck location?

One last question, would those headers work on a Z if they were turned down? Always good to know if there is another valid option out there.

I would probably trim the collectors, and add V-bands, but its not really a necessity. Changing plugs is not bad at all, there is a ton of room around the primaries with the headers in this position. I will be running all F-body accessories, I just didn't have them on in the picture. This is the ONLY way they'll fit in an S30, with Johns Cars engine mounts.

Yeah, the construction is pretty good, but the flanges and collector flanges have a TON of steel in them, so I'm sure they'll rust. The primaries are 304 SS though.
