Default what do i need from a doner 99 silverado

Please help I found a wrecked silverado that I am going to get the swap out of. The person I am getting it from is pulling it and I wana make sure I get all that I will need.

So far I told him full swap with all accessories and not to cut any wires. Also need the computer, is there anything else I should get? Thanks

What vehicle do you plan to swap the vehicle into? Do you plan on keeping your original transmission?

DO you want to go manual?

Is the donor truck 2wd or 4wd?

If you want to use a 4l60e and the truck is 2wd as well as your car, take the transmission. If the truck is 4wd and you application is 2wd you cannot use the transmission unless you plan a full rebuild job on it and swap the input shaft.

By the way, take the air box also. Unless you are sure you plan on going with a different air filter

I have a 4l80e I plan on putting behind it.

As of right now I am going to put it in my 2x4 84 Chevy work truck.

They left the engine harness in the truck. I am going tonight to get it, I was wondering what all I should take. It seems like the engine harness bolts to the fuse block.
Can someone tell me what wiring I need if I wana build the harness myself.

Take it all. Much easier for you to eliminate what U don't need than to be out looking for items, later on.

You definitely want the fuse block also! It has all the necessary relays and fuses to make an easy swap.
