Default 1987 Buick GN Lq4/4L80e Twin turbo

Sold my 67 camaro that I started with the twin turbo project and Purchased this GN as a nice Rust free roller with 6 point roll cage. Car has fiberglass hood and bumper fillers. Pulled a 6.0L / 4L80e Lq4 with 40k miles out of a 2004 3500 2wd van.

Motor specs:

Twin Garret 61mm turbos
Truck manifolds flipped forward
JGS wastegates and blowoff valve
Champ sheetmetal pan
Black gloss powdercoat valvecovers and intake
Intercooler
Epp blower cam
Valvsprings / pushrods
Edelbrock Pro flo xt intake
80 lb injectors
aeromotive AFPR
intank high flow pump
SFI crank pulley
F body accessories

Stock 4L80e
Stock torque converter

Here are some pictures of car and motor as it sits. Going to try to fit two 3" downpipes but having some trouble on drivers side with the power steering might be tight.

@denali - I can get you part numbers in a few days, my wife just delivered a set of identical twins to go along with my twin turbos!

I plan on doing a forged shortblock and torque converter eventually but I am going to get it running and driving at 8 to 10 psi maybe spray some alky and see how it goes!

Haven't done much since the arrival of our twins on 7-11. I am going to try to re-fit the 6.0L / 4L80e either later today or tomorrow with all accessories on the car to get fitment for downpipes intercooler etc.

I will try to get some more pics and part numbers to document build.

Twin newborns take up alot of time

Got a few hours today to work on the GN. Between helping with breastfeeding and changing diapers its a much needed break!

Re-installed engine and tranny with accessories to check for fitment.

Passenger side down pipe has more then enough room with no heater and none of the power steering , steering column, etc.

Drivers side is pretty cramped.

Here are some pics of the clearance.

Looks like I either ditch the power steering, which I really don't want to do, or cut the drivers fender well and route the downpipe through there.

Downpipes were made to fit my 67 camaro, so will have to be cut up and rewelded, and also the pipe off the drivers side manifold to turbo will have to be cut and modified.

Any ideas?
