That pic sure does look familiar! Usually the right side is the worse from the battery acid. Way to jump right in! Are you going to remove the subframe completely? If so, I have some diagrams that will help you get it back square in the car once removed. Awesome pic of the front tilting forward, I had to look twice. It looks as if it was hinged to do that. Best of luck to ya! May I suggest something? Make a list of the issues that need tending to and stick to it. I was bad about jumping around and in the end it took me forever to finish my car.

well i got a little work done this weekend
383 is out
pretty easy with the sheet metal off, lol
swapped my oil pan and put on my Dirty Dingo adaptors
Then it was test fit time
muncie bolted up
in she goes
it took a little effort but it went in first try, mounts set motor back all the way, which is the stock location
I put in the tranny cross member and drive shaft all fits great, just have to test fit the headers then pull it out to start cleaning everything up.
That was enough for today

SUBSCRIBED! Great progress, best of luck on the build! Those Dingo plates look sweet! It's great to see these builds and get some motivation going on my own As Snow said, keep the pics and updates coming! Also, I agree with the idea of making a "to do" list for the project and stick to one piece at a time. I learned that the hard way when we bought our new home this past fall...we still don't have a shower! Kitchen is done though:-) Best of luck with this...

Sorry guys for not updating in a whiel its been nuts here. Well the project is takin a different route now. I have the car fully stripped and found some hidden surprises. The trunk floor, inner wheel wells, and some of the floor need to be replaced. The trunk had a previous repair that you couldnt see till the splatter paint was removed. It was a poor job at the least. So new plan are new trunk sheet metal and Im probably gonna mini tub it seeing i have to change the inners anyway. Ill post some pics up tonight. I have most of the firewall holes all welded up too. Gonna clean that up nice.
Again sorry for the delay, ohh I also got my new chassis wiring harnes and fuse block, wheel adaptors and PSI harness and comp.. yaa!
pics to come
