I think I've decided to use the factory frame from my car, only because the new frame was made at a different assembly plant. And I would like to keep original parts with the car, so if any is interested pm me.

Little grinding and time to weld them to the frame

Setting everything in place to tack in the mounts

Didn't get much done last week. I spent all day helping a friend with his 71 el camino 6.0 swap. And manageD to run some fuel line and mount my Vette regulator.

After talking to local body shops I've decided not to get robbed and do some patch work myself, it's not the best job but it's solid and that what matters to me. Picture time-->

Test just to be safe

Little grinding and primer before some seam sealer

Getting ready for the weekend, the plan is to prime and paint the firewall. If I'm lucky I'll get some work done on the BIG holes

I was skeptical lifting the bumper. I went slow and it worked out great, they don't make cars like this any more!

Stripped every thing from the firewall getting ready

Its looking great. Keep up the good work. What kind of blue fuel line is that? Are you going to rewire the interior? If so, what kit are you using or are you making your own?

The fuel line is push loc hose from summit, it's good for 300psi and rated for fuel, for some reason the black hose isn't rated for fuel.

I'm using a stock tank, adding a sump in the rear with -6 fittings for supply and return.

If I run the return back into the sump it should help with any starvation issues at low fuel levels.

Lots of prep and finally got a couple coats if high build primer on the car. And finished cleaning up and painting the under side of the car.
