69 chevelle lq4 turbo questions
After finishing a ls1 swap in my 98 bmw m3 I am going to start a swap in my fathers 69 chevelle malibu. I have a few questions for you guys who have done this so far.
Since it was the malibu it has the little 10bolt rear end, Is the 12 bolt ss rear end strong enough for 700hp? The car is just going to run street tires that can fit in the stock wheel wells so i assume it will just spin before it breaks something.
I am also wondering how much if any chassis bracing is needed. I have herd stores of roofs buckling from frame flex, etc.
I have seen a few different ways to configure the stock fuel tank for a high pressure return style system and didnt know what was the best option.
any advice would be great
thanks
