Hopefully this is the right place for this. If not feel free to move...Well im looking around for an 05 5.3 motor to pick up and im looking at this one on craigslist anywho the block has 4.8/5.3 stamped on it. Anyone know why GM stamped it on there? Heres the link on CL.

blocks are the same, crank is different. Only way to tell is VIN# from truck or if it has flat-top pistons. If it does have flatops its a 4.8.
