Default L33 oil pressure sending unit with F-body harness

i'm swapping over my v6 01 camaro convertible to an L33 4L60E and wired up using a 2001 camaro v8 harness. but the oil pressure sending unit has a different plug and different threading. the ls1 harness uses a 2 wire and the L33 uses a 3 wire. so what has everybody else done? is there a way to wire up the 3 wire to work on a 2 wire? thanks in advance for your help

The threads should be the same (16mm) regardless of the sensor type if you are referring to the oil pressure sender located behind the intake manifold. The older Camaro style should simply swap in, even though they look fairly different.

they are different thread sizes. i can slide the ls1 style sending unit through the hole. it's smaller then the L33 threads
