Necrobump. Car was 1642 on the corner scales, full, last week. Forgot to pop in. Good #s at the 1/4 mile, everything around here is closed until spring... but I can't wait to go. There's actually a V6 brunton local to me that runs on the autocross course. Haven't met the guy but I saw him out.

I wish you were closer! It would be fun to duke it out!

We actually have a member that hauls over from KS to do our local track events.

I'll forward you our schedule when it finalizes. You might not even be the only Ecocet next year if the other guys get done.

I may also be running alloy wheels next year getting our race weights closer.

The wing (or wings) is also on the to do list.

There was a pro-photographer at one of my track events. I finally had some time to upload and share a couple action shots!

Next on the agenda:
Aluminum wheels
New Headers (larger diameter and better construction)
Tune
New Water pump?
Wing(s)
Might even get crazy and get it street legal!

Very cool build. What kind of lap times do you run at Blackhawk and RA?

I run in the 1:17s from a standing start at BHF.

I don't have times from RA since I didn't run a transponder.

I'll use an iPhone app to get flying lap times, hopefully in both locations, next year.

Cool Impala BTW! When can I see it lapping BHF?

That's moving for a street car at BHF. It took me years to break into the teens there on a bike. I thought about making the Impala into a track car but it's just not it the cards. Plus Blackhawk and I don't get along. I was medevac'd out of there in 2012 after a superbike crash in turn 2. Road America and Autobahn I love though. One day maybe when the kids are out of college

Man, it must be so fun to drive.

Do you have any way to mount fenders if you wanted to daily it?

Do you have any still shots of it?

Awesome build.

The front fenders are bicycle style. They mount to the spindle.

The rear fenders are molded into some body work. I may slap it on to get it registered, but want to run bike style fenders in back also, eventually. I like having the mechanicals exposed.

My goal is to have it road legal this summer. The kit is designed to be a road car (registers as a 62 Lotus Replica). I have been having fun racing it, so the street legal stuff has been on the back burner.

And thanks!
