Which PCM for 07 LMG?
I am going to be swapping in a 2007 LMG into a 1984 Firebird. When I picked up the motor it did not come with the factory harness. I would like to stay away from a separate ECM and TCM. I would like to know what PCM I could use for the 58x reluctor, DBW throttle body and 4L80E trans and which electronic pedal I would need. I will not be using any DOD or VVT.

If you want to use an older all in one PCM (red-blue or green-blue connectors) you will need to get a 58x to 24x conversion box from Lingenfelter.
Factor up the costs of the conversion box and the mods you may have to make to an older harness to fit the Gen 4 and you may find that using an E38 and TCM combo will save you money in the long run.

Any throttle body from a 2010 Truck should work or will one from a 2003+ work also? The reason I ask is because I can't find a pedal that new anywhere.

Here's a pedal solution

The truck pedals don't usually fit too well in cars. Search around there's lots of 3rd gen swaps already done.

It's not the swap that I'm worried about, its the PCM wiring that I'm trying to figure out which route will be a little more cost effective. I may even swap out reluctor wheels and just run a Gen III computer and harness...Thanks for the thread by the way, that may come in handy if I decide to stick with all Gen IV stuff.
