Planning on going with longtube headers and since im TX. I need to pass emissions.
I will run true duals with CATS and run the pipes over the axle and have dual exits with mufflers.

i received new custom wire harness this morning and the alternator. need to get lt1 radiator and hoses from autozone. i still need to order my exhaust from headers to catback. also get ls1 rack and pinion, but i will install the truck manifolds for testing purposes. just to get it running.
I should have this car rolling by this weekend or at the latest next weekend.
wish me luck.

i just noticed that the wire harness has the 5 pin MAF and the LS1 is a 3 PIN.
The 5 pin includes the MAF and IAT pins.
Either i repin it to the 3 pin MAF and the 2 PIN for the AIT. I dont really want to go that route.
I would rather just get a 85MM MAF witch has the 5 PINs and i would need to get a tune.

You don't need to swap out your cluster when you get the computer programed you just have to change a parameter for the tach and then use a 98 coolant sensor.

You're going to have to get a LS1 K member and motor mounts, the a arms shocks, springs will all fit from the LT1. LS1 Steering rack and knuckle.

On the CAI you can use any LT1 CAI, or make an LS1 lid work...it works really easy with a WS6 hood I've read.

If your using an LS1 Auto then you will need to add an plate onto the crossmember of the LT1 xmember as the tranny sits further back, you can't use the LS1 auto xmember it doesn't fit the body. You can use the LT1 tranny the electronics and everything hook up from 97 but you need a conversion kit.

I'm going to send you a PM on some parts and stuff. Let me know if you have any questions I'd be happy to help there are some great resources on here.
I'll take the same list if your willing , fixing to do a 96 trans am LS conversion
