Starting on my swap
5.3&4l60 from a 05 express
It came with everything

Got all accessories and intake off and it needs to be cleaned

This is about where I am now motors in a parts car the trans is bolted in to original modifed crossmember
I know it looks crooked it's sitting on wood

Waiting now for motor mounts to arrive so I can start on brackets

Also need new exhaust manifolds these won't work at all
Since this is super budget swap I'm sticking with truck oilpan and intake the pan will need to be shortened as it hangs down to low but without mounts made I'm not worried about pan
The intake tho is pretty gross

My hood clearance is tight so.. Off with all the ****

glued an old bumper cover on top

Why am I not surprised to see these popping up more and more... Oh yeah, its because they are such a fun and easy swap.

Looks good so far. Would be fun someday to see a few of our ls swapped cars together.
