Default LQ9/4L80e going in a 74 Nova, gas pedal/cable Q's

Im helping a friend get this build going and we cant seem to get an answer on what throttle cable and gas pedal to run. Ive looked through the threads and no one really talks about it.

So what are people doing to hook their pedal up to the throttle body?

The motor has an ls1 cable driven throttle body and ls1 intake. The nova is stock with a carb'd 350 so it has the mechanical linkage. Do we need to swap gas pedals or what?

Thanks for the help

I'm upgrading to the TBSS intake manifold now, and swapping to a cable driven throttlebody.

Should keep the LQ9 going into my 99 tahoe going with deep breaths...

Why not use the factory pedal and a lokar cable?

OE Nova pedal, 36" or 48" Lokar cable. That's what I did. I believe I went with 48", but 36" should suffice.

Which PCM are you using? If it is the LQ9 it will need to be modified for the cable throttle.

We are running an 0411 pcm. We went ls6 intake with EV1 injectors and cable driven throttle body. Running the hybrid front accessory setup with the L99 camaro ss water pump and truck alternator bracket.

That works. I checked, and went with a 48" cable. Here's how I routed it - you can see I snaked it along the passenger-side fuel rail, then behind the intake due to the excess length.
