Default 700R4 or 4l60e

I want the Impala to be a new car with all possible options dressed in a 63 body. It is stripped and rust free now. LS1 is setting in the frame and with a small cross member alteration all of the Camero pullys and belts are going to work great. Camero had 6spd but I want an automatic with overdrive in the Impala. 700R4 I already own, uses regular speedometer and fits. Problem is it will not work with the Camero cruise control. I can get an aftermarket cruise that works with the cable drive. 4l60e somewhat better gearing and uses the electronic cruise from the Camero but it looks like major wiring changes to my loom and CPU due to the donor car having a 6spd. another problem is the speedometer will need a adaptor for the 4l60e.
Looking for any problems or benifits to either transmission that I have not considered yet and I am open to suggestions.

How would you hook up the TV cable on the 700R4? The 4L60E is a later version on the 700 with upgrades. I would go with the 4L60E.
