Default thermostat housing

doing a conversion with a 5.3 engine. I need a thermostat housing that points down. any oem or junkyard options? tia

I'm using a 96 mustang 3.8 housing with original 05 tstat and o ring. It points down at a 45 degree towards the frame rail. Don't know if that's far enough for you.

I'll try to get a pic and post it on my build thread and here. My tstat housing was sitting right over the frame rail and the lower hose would have had to make a 180 to go in. Not good. Some have also used a Windstar 3.8 housing that has a the nipple sticking straight out. I got both at the junk yard and paid $1.35 for them, but I pulled them. I went with the mustang one because I only had to mod the original lower hose to fit and it gave good clearance.
