Default ls awd bmw e46... questions/opinions.. not build thread (yet)

So I got myself a 2001 bmw 330ci. It's all gutted. Making into a dedicated track car, so I plan on doing some unorthodox stuff.

Im definitely going ls/t56 route. Now what do you all think about...

Corvette t56 with transfer case attached directly to rear diff, and running 2 drive shafts to the engine and front diff. Like the GTR.

Anyone try this yet?

I'd like to do it for weight distribution rather than most of the drive train weight on the front

It's for road racing, not so much 1/4 mile. Also mostly because I've always like the idea of awd.
