Default SN95 Long tubes w/ stock kmember

So i have searched and searched. On here. Google. Other forums. No such luck. Im building a 97 V6 car with an NA 5.3 for now. I have plans to turbo the car one day down the road but right now want the best bang for buck. Its not gonna be anything radical. Top end build and maybe a shot of spray. Keeping the car manual as well. More of a street toy than track car. For now id like to save some coins and use the stock kmember. This would allow me to focus more on the engine stuff needed as well as going ahead and building the 8.8 i have and getting the car painted. Main goals are to get the car looking good and moving under its own power. I see where a guy on here used the ebay shorty headers with the stock kmember. Im considering this but unsure how much it will effect the power of the car and how they fit. Ive also thought about the 351W swap deal but no one makes a for sure set that fit a SN95 car. Least decent priced. Ive had a set of the BRP headers for a fox but never got to use them and sold the whole setup. But again they only make headers for the fox setup and cant tell me if they will fit SN95 style. Im tempted to try them but again they arent the cheapest of headers. However if i knew they for sure fit i wouldnt mind spending the extra money. I feel i would have better luck making the mid-lengths fit but then it comes down to the power again. Just mainly looking for opinions and even facts. Thanks for your time.

Someone on this site used a set of Hedman mid length for LS in fox body, in an SN95 and they were somewhat inexpensive if memory serves. Check their site, call their tech line to be sure.

Thanks guys. I have tried to gather as much info as I could on the mid lengths but no luck. I called BRP which is the same as Hedman and they couldnt confirm if they would fit the SN95s or not. Maybe Hedman themselves would have more info. Ill try them today. Im located in NC. Which sets do you have BowtieFord? Any install pics of them?

I have the Ford 351w BBK with LS1 flange welded on. Fits great, I forgot the other set I think it was MAC with LS1 flanges. I was only thinking if you where close by chance, I would let you borrow them to try first. Only have top engine pic so that wouldn't help.

I appreciate the offer. Would be helpful if I was closer. Ive been trying to look at pics of the Hedman stuff on the fox cars. Only issue I may see is the steering shaft. I know it comes out the firewall in a different location. The mid lengths would prolly work. However not to sure on the long tubes since the shaft runs between the primaries.

I have the AJE member and the BBK 351's fit perfect, the Macs where a little tight but I think would work, my Kooks fit perfect but going turbo now. I did have to swap out the steering shaft as my old one had a big knuckle which rubbed and the new Flaming river knuckle is a lot smaller and fit good. Remember you can also move the column a little to help.
