2000 Roush Mustang 5.3 & 4l65e
Hey guys this is my first attempt at a LS conversion. My plans are strictly drag car and to build it as simple as possible. The main intent is ms3 cam and Nitrous.
Here's what we are working with:
-PA Racing LS kmember with A arms.
-Strange adjustable coil overs all around.
-Stock 5.3 out of a 03 Tahoe approx 130k miles
-Stock 4l65e out of the same vehicle.
Ideas / direction:
Due to the car practically being a shell, I will have to first just get it to a roller stand point. The previous owner gutted the engine bay, so I will have to figure out what brake system I want to go with. Currently thinking of going manual brakes like the 94-95 mustangs. I'm thinking of going with a manual steering rack with bumpsteers. Also hoping to relocate the battery in the trunk and run a fuel cell. As for engine wiring harness/ecu I will be going with the Holley EFI Dominator kit and running their LCD screen for gauges.
Guys this build will take a while because I'm getting married next July but I will try to fund this project as I have some extra cash. I will need as much input as possible.
