Default My Porsche 944 5.3 swap

Well I figured I would share this little project I'm undertaking. Gas engines aren't my expertise, I've done a lot of cummins swaps and diesel builds but this is my first ls swap.

I went with the 944 because it weighs 2800lbs from the factory and in my opinion is better looking and more unique than the nissans/mazdas people typically choose for a light ls swap. This car is a strict street toy, just a bare bones, quick ride. Removed a/c, powersteering, and brake booster (had to be removed to clear valve covers anyways).

Engine is a mild build, I may do a wet kit down the road when I get comfortable with this.
-TSP 228r @ 110 lsa
-LS6 intake/injectors
-heads decked .015
-tubular manifolds
-ls7 lifters, ls2 chain, .600 springs, hardened pushrods

Currently waiting on parts to make progress.

Car as it was when I bought it. Wing is removed

I had to change my accessories to a Camaro setup.

That looks like it will be a very fun swap.

I've always liked the 944 model.

I really like this. The 944 was flat cool. And you rarely see them any more.
Yours is going to make the right noises now!
Very cool.

Is that a widebody 944?
