Default T56 aftermarket shifters.

Hey guys.
I need an aftermarket shifter to sit where mine lines up.
It's at the very rear opening where the usual 6 bolt cover and linkage goes.
Hoping there's one i can buy that sits here without the linkage taking it further back.

Please let me know what's around.
Thanks

Isn't that the normal location of the T56 shifter, all the way in the back?

Most guys have to buy replacement stuff to move it forward

Google "t56 shifter" goto the images tab and scroll through them until you find what you want. Tons of options.

My T56 only has a 4 bolt cover and the F-body location would work just fine I think.

Pro 5.0 in my nova gets a thumbs-up. I've heard that the MGWs are better. Only issue with the F-body shifters are that the stick is canted toward the driver, though the shifter itself works. I replaced the stick with a standard one from Hurst.
